The Rise of the Medical Emergency, Pt. 46 - July 6th Reports
The shotted continue to menace society in a variety of abnormal ways. It's TROME
Holy freakin’ guacamole. Watch this video report:
1) Woman rescued after vehicle ends up in Lake Monticello
‘Three young lifeguards at Lake Monticello are being credited with saving a driver who had a medical emergency and drove into the lake.
According to the Lake Monticello Owner’s Association, an unwell driver went through the LMOA pool deck around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday.
She then continued over Beach 1 and into Lake Monticello itself where her vehicle sank.
Lake Monticello lifeguards pulled the driver from the car before it went completely under the water and she was treated by paramedics.
Lifeguard Paige Tomaras was giving a swimming lesson when it happened.’ [Emphasis added]
Oh to be young again, right? Not in the age of TROME.
2) Man dies after driving truck with camper off US-2 into trees
‘The Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office says a man died after driving his truck and camper off the road and into trees.
Deputies say the driver [crossed] the median and went off the road. They believe it may have been caused by a medical emergency.
They say the driver went into the ditch and hit several trees before stopping. Deputies, Michigan State Police and EMS removed him from the car and tried to save him, but they were unsuccessful.
The crash is still under investigation, but alcohol and speed are not considered factors.’ [Emphasis added]
This is such the classic case. Crossed the whole road and everything. Hit several trees before stopping. Holy cow.
3) LIVE: M6 drivers hit by huge traffic delays both ways after lorry overturns and medical emergency - latest updates
Source: manchestereveningnews.co.uk
I mean, this one counts. Okay, the overturned “lorry,” which I understand is a semi-truck, but what do I know, was caused by a total mystery apparently. No word on that. Just a truck laying on its side. Then, in the otherbound lanes, we have a bonafide medical emergency — the driver bounced off the barrier while hurtling down the freeway at lethal speeds. Anyway:
‘Long queues are building on a stretch of the M6 this morning after a lorry overturned.’
Copy that.
‘There has also been a medial emergency on the northbound carriageway.’
No kidding?
And that’s a wrap. Curiously devoid of information, this one. This has double medical emergency written all over it. But for now, just be cautioned: the overturned lorry is just an overturned lorry. Happens all the time.
“Lorry,” lol.
4) Car accident caused brush fire which briefly threatened some homes in Ventura County
‘CHP investigators say a woman who had a medical emergency while driving a car crashed into a field in the Ojai Valley, starting a brush fire.’
‘Investigators believe the 27-year-old woman fainted, leading to her car crashing through a wooden fence into the field. The Simi Valley woman escaped from the car on her own. She was taken to a hospital for treament of minor injuries.’ [Emphasis added]
5) Camden man experiences medical emergency, dies in Fourth of July fatal crash
Fourth of July, driving with friends. Oh, man.
‘On July 5, 2023, Camden News confirmed that a medical emergency led to a fatal crash on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. According to Arkansas State Police, the crash claimed the life of 22-year-old Treyveon K. Pace of Camden, Ark.
According to reports, on July 4, 2023, at 11:27 AM, Pace exited Carnes Park while traveling westbound across Highway 7. Pace’s passengers mentioned that he began to have a seizure and drove into Cuba Circle, where his vehicle exited the roadway, crashing into a tree at the intersection of Cuba Circle and Dunning Street.
After the impact, the vehicle rolled on its side. The passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for observation and Pace was pronounced dead at the scene.’
This is unimaginable tragedy. This is such a horror movie. Any film makers out there? I’m picturing this scene. I’m picturing those private jet passengers from a couple weeks ago, probably enjoying snacks and drinks when the plane suddenly went vertical because the pilot was dead. This is a horror show.
6) Passengers stuck at Manchester Airport for HOURS as flight grounded after medical emergency
Source: manchestereveningnews.co.uk
‘Passengers were stuck at Manchester Airport for hours as a flight to Dubai was unable to take off. The Emirates flight was due to leave at 9.50am this morning (July 6).
But travellers were kept on the aircraft into the afternoon following a 'complex' medical emergency.’ [Emphasis added]
‘Once the medical incident involving a passenger had been resolved, the Emirates crew had exceeded their flying hours limit following an earlier flight and were unable to take off […]’
7) Drowning Boy, 9, Resuscitated After He's Pulled From Pool At Boys & Girls Club
‘The Morris Plains youngster may have had a medical emergency shortly after 2:30 p.m. July 6, they said.
"Staff noticed immediately, pulled the child from the pool and conducted CPR," Clifton Police Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.
The child then began breathing again, the lieutenant said.’ [Emphasis added]
Yup. One of those.
8) Md. police K-9 dies after suffering medical emergency while searching for suspect
‘A K-9 with the Forest Heights Police Department died due to a medical emergency while assisting a partner agency, the department announced.
On July 2, K-9 Kuno was helping the Prince George's County Police Department search a school for a burglary suspect with temperatures in the mid-90s.
‘About 15 minutes into the search, K-9 Kuno showed signs of heat stroke […]’
‘His handler [took] K-9 Kuno to the patrol unit to cool down and give him water, but he collapsed several minutes later.’
‘He was rushed to a veterinarian where he died.’
They always blame the heat. What was he doing before the call? Burpees? Or was he hanging out in an air-conditioned police cruiser? Anyway, these dogs shotted or what? I still can’t find out. They sure do die a lot.
9) Oxford: Emergency services called to 'medical episode'
‘Police have confirmed they were called to a medical episode in Oxford last night (July 5).
Emergency services rushed to an incident on Between Towns Road at around 8.30pm.
An eyewitness said that paramedics were assisting one woman on the road outside the Domino's Pizza store as officers directed traffic.
Thames Valley Police is unable to provide an update on the condition of the woman when asked by this newspaper.’
Adieu
Thank you Chad for all the good news stories, because, as they say, it could have been worse.
