‘Hanson had a “medical emergency” earlier this week which caused fatal complications, according to KAIT-8, the network where Hanson started her news career in 2010.’

‘It was on KAIT-8 where Hanson would celebrate “Dance Party Fridays,” earning her the nickname “Dancin’ Hanson” among her colleagues.’

‘Maxheimer drew his gun in preparation to confront the dogs, but the dogs ran into the woods. He returned to the police station, where he complained of nausea and chest pain. He was admitted to a hospital where he passed away the following day, according to ODMP.’

I’ll leave the dogs bit to the imagination.

‘Maxheimer was 39 years old and had served in the Shannon Hills Police Department for three years. He had served in law enforcement for 16 years in many different departments. He is survived by three daughters and his girlfriend, according to his obituary.’

‘NEW HAVEN — A man died after his car struck a city fire vehicle head-on during a "medical emergency" near the intersection of Hemingway and Russell Street, according to police.’

‘Sgt. Cherelle Carr said that police were alerted of the head-on collision at 8:34 p.m. on Saturday. Carr said a Honda Accord swerved into an oncoming lane and struck a city fire department's SUV.’

‘Fire personnel inside the SUV administered Narcan to the driver of the Honda Accord at the scene of the crash, Carr added. ’

‘Carr said that all parties involved in the crash were transported to an area hospital for suspected injuries.’

‘Police did not comment any further on the use of Narcan on the driver of the Honda Accord, who has not yet been identified by police.’

‘VSP says their investigations revealed that around 4 p.m., the driver of a 2005 Toyota Sienna, 70-year-old Wallace James Miller Jr., was driving northbound on I-464 near the Poindexter Street exit when he had a medical emergency.’

Okay this gets a bit complicated:

‘Due to the medical emergency, Millers ran off the roadway to the left and struck the guardrail, continued back into travel lanes and struck a 2018 Freightliner tractor-trailer. The vehicle then crossed all lanes of traffic and struck the guard rail on the right, and bounced back into the Freightliner. 

After the second time hitting the Freightliner, the Toyota drove off the roadway, struck a ditch and hit several trees.’

Read that again if you have to. It’s… not a typical crash scenario.

‘Miller was taken to Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His next of kin has been notified.’

#6 School bus crashes into fence in north Charlotte; 1 person taken to hospital

‘CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was taken to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus in north Charlotte, Medic said.’

‘The crash happened along Old Statesville Road, near Hucks Road, around 2 p.m. WCNC Charlotte crews saw a school bus that appeared to crash through a fence and drive down an embankment. The emergency door of the bus was left open following the crash.’

‘Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools said the driver of bus 1967 suffered a medical emergency that resulted in a crash. There were 22 students from Croft Community School on board at the time of the wreck. Four students were evaluated for injuries at the request of their parents, but none were taken to the hospital by ambulance, according to a CMS spokesperson.’

‘Medic initially said five people suffered minor injuries in the wreck. The agency later clarified that one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.’
