‘MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. — The Cal Fire San Benito-Monterey Unit (BEU) announced the passing of Fire Apparatus Engineer Christopher Ward,47.’

‘According to a press release from California Governor Newsom's office, Ward suffered a medical emergency while on duty on Thursday, Aug. 29.’
