‘PARK RAPIDS, Minn. — She's not old enough to drive, but a Minnesota 13-year-old was forced to learn fast.’
‘Her mom was behind the wheel in late September, but had a sudden medical issue in a rural area near Laporte.’
‘She described her mother driving erratically. She said, "She was kind of steering into the ditch, so I was like 'oh I probably have to steer now', so I started steering, it was really scary."’
‘They were going at a highway speed in the dark.’
What a scene.
She called 911 and they told her to put the stick in neutral and she did that and they pulled over safely. Oh my god. Gut-wrenching.
Now, in this somewhat rare instance, the medical world isn’t baffled by the reason: low blood sugar.
‘After safely stopping, medics found Barb Foss's blood sugar had dropped to 41, which is considered dangerously low.’
I’ve heard since almost the beginning of the shots about blood sugar swings but I’ve never really delved into it.
I don’t want to read too much into it, but it strikes me as odd no mention is made of the Mother’s diabetes status. It seems like it’s part of the story one way or another. But we’re keeping in mind that all this exists in a nation having a diabetes epidemic right now.
Anyway, leaving this one in for now. I should find out more about the blood sugar topic regarding the shots.
Foul language warning TROME
‘The announcement comes a year after Colbert shared that he tested positive for COVID-19, resulting in production of his show to be postponed as he recovered from the illness.’
How’s that fucking vaxscene working out, asshole?
Well, the linked report consists entirely of a commentary-free video of the accident scene.
The video has moments representative of the new TROME era movie genres. Art horror, let’s say. Both the scene itself — the rescue vehicles and the lights — and the reporting per se — the silent witness in emptiness to the carnage — gives the viewer an odd sense of surrealism, that dystopian-adjacent haunting tragedy underpinning everything in TROME.

‘Police said the impact caused the man’s car to spin 180 degrees, after which it was struck head-on by a 2015 Subaru Legacy traveling east in the eastbound lane.’
Everybody survived. Crumple zones. Amazing things.

#10 Bentley driver may have suffered 'medical emergency' before crashing $300,000 supercar into Canadian border on ill-fated trip to see KISS with his wife: Authorities struggle to identify couple's 'incinerated' remains after fireball sparked terror fears

‘The car hit a fence and erupted into a '40 foot fireball' which left the 'car pieces everywhere.'’
So, not terrorism. Just another day in TROME. Car pieces everywhere.

3 medical emergencies.
‘Grace [Dent] had been appearing pale and withdrawn on Sunday night's show which sparked a lot of concern from people online. After repeatedly making comments about wanting to go home, she eventually opted to exit.
After being picked by the public to do the latest trial, Down The Tubes, it appeared to be the last straw for Grace. A show spokesperson confirmed: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.’ [Emphasis added]
