Another youth soccer player dead this weekend. A rising star in Senegal, also 17, like the one that died in Australia on Saturday, died Sunday. A bicyclist died during a race. A French half marathon saw one (or two) heart attacks (articles are translations only), 82 serious medical interventions, and 36 hospitalizations. Another broadcaster died with seizures. Two more car wrecks were caused by medical emergencies. A deputy police officer died during official activities. A 3 year-old was airlifted off of a cruise ship with seizures. And people described their horrific suffering on social media — suffering that kind of has to be seen to be understood.

9) Man dies in medical emergency in Grant County

May 29 — “Over the weekend, a man died in a medical emergency on the shoulder of I-90 in Grant County. Troopers were sent to make sure the driver was OK. When they arrived, they [found] 56-year-old Petr S. Pipenko of North Port, Florida, unresponsive.
Troopers performed CPR on Pipenko until air arrived. He was taken to Samaritan Hospital, where WSP says he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the incident is unknown, according to WSP.”

So, these are all mystery conditions to me. This is one of the biggest ignored tragedies of this whole shot pandemic. I can’t even watch these videos. Here, you try:
UPDATE: This one might be fake. It’s a weird write-up and I’ve seen the same write-up elsewhere. I’m leaving this in here for now but I’m thinking it might be garbage. This highlights one of the reasons social media posts can be considered low-tier evidence. On the other hand, direct personal accounts of real-life situations are pretty spectacularly high-tier in many other ways.

Now, I’m not clear with this one either if she was always having these conditions and then they came to a head or what. But she seems surprised by it — not like she was under constant medical supervision, in which case I imagine she would have thanked her parents for their endless support — not for finding her on the bathroom floor.
