What a week… Heart trouble takes out a basketball coach for a spell, but no one knows what killed the 21 year-old college football player. There’s another heart attack in a jail in Western Washington, and Story #4 might be the opening scene to the movie: and it is a horror film, at least, it starts out as an utter horror film, onboard an airplane. A high school teacher dies at a school, a school bus drives into a tree, a college student dies at a college, and Western Washington shows up AGAIN, bringing us a dead high school student found on a middle school bus. A whole library branch shuts down for a day to honor the library lady. We find ourselves confronted with yet ANOTHER story of a 10 year-old child, this one pictured in the story with his first slice of NY pizza, on vacation in New York, with a sudden headache caused by a THOROUGHLY BAFFLING brain aneurysm that burst. Try writing a catchy headline for that.
This is one of the worst TROME’s I’ve ever written. I had to take it in sections.
We find a poorly-written account of an Uber driver causing… perhaps… a 3-car wreck on the freeway, and then we find out about a seemingly obvious scumbag of a politician (his date probably didn’t get that bloody nose from simply falling down. Just sayin’…) avoiding arrest via sudden hospitalization. A zombie driver wrecks fantastically and is saved, another inmate gets hit with the suddenly, another Broadway cast replaces a cast member, a zombie driver leads a teen on a very cold wild goose chase, and in the next story they just find a guy, in the river. A patient is transported by air, Western Washington shows up AGAIN, this time in a lawsuit for arresting a victim of a brain bleed for DUI and mocking her as she almost died, a “SkyTrain” line was cancelled in Canada, another scene for the movie — def — is added as a tractor trailer demos 13 cars driving down the main street in the downtown Minersville. A hiker is hauled off a mountain. A zombie driver really goes for it — running a red light before hitting a barrier, several cars, and a church. A county EMS vehicle drives across a lawn and directly into a tree. People are shocked at the strong police response to a train station situation in Glasgow. Meanwhile at Watford Junction a passenger outright dies. A road is blocked by an emergency, a couple flights land prematurely, and Tori Kelly writes a song about her feelings towards clotting. A 13 year-old simply dies, paramedics are called to a street, an Indian politician is hospitalized, and General Hospital is here to normalize it all. It’s TROME

#2 Furman leaders remember football player after sudden passing
Source: foxcarolina.com
‘Bryce Stanfield, a student-athlete who was hospitalized after a medical emergency, has passed away, Furman University announced on Friday.’
‘Stanfield, a 21-year-old football player and health sciences major, collapsed during a workout Wednesday morning at Paladin Stadium. He was taken to the hospital and placed on life support. His coaches said he had a back strain that had limited what he could do before practices started, but it was something he had been dealing with and was being rehabbed to get ready for the season. They were not aware of any other medical issues.’
#3 Clallam Bay Swiftly Responds to Medical Emergency
Source: doc.wa.gov
Note the source, lol. Washington state government. Western Washington is a stain on the nation. It is the most-shotted place I know of, but that’s a very casual observation. They especially went after the kids. They bragged about it. It was disgusting to watch. And Western Washington comes up in these articles all the time. Western Washington comes up several times in this issue.
‘On a frigid winter morning at the Clallam Bay Corrections Center on January 14, 2024, a routine day took a dramatic turn when an incarcerated individual had a life-threatening medical emergency.’
‘Recognizing the gravity of the situation, prison staff continued their testing and conducted an electrocardiogram (EKG), which had revealed abnormal results indicative of a heart attack.’
They saved him. Good job.
Okay, this one’s wild. Horror movie afficianados, eat your heart out. The rest of us — just be prepared.
#4 Passenger Dies After 'Medical Emergency' Reportedly Involving Liters of Blood Loss During International Flight
Source: people.com
‘A passenger on an international flight from Bangkok to Munich died on Thursday after experiencing a "medical emergency" reportedly involving liters of blood loss mid-flight.’
‘The outlet reported that the passenger was a 63-year-old man flying with a woman believed to be his wife. Fellow passenger Karin Missfelder noticed the man had "cold sweats, was breathing much too quickly, and was already apathetic."’
‘As the fellow passenger explained, the man was given chamomile tea as he began to "spit blood into the bag that his wife held out to him" and lost liters of blood from his mouth and nose, some of which hit the walls of the plane. “It was absolute horror, everyone was screaming."’
‘After flight personnel attempted a "resuscitation," having "lasted about half an hour," Missfelder added that it was "dead quiet on board."’
Opening scene. I don’t even want to imagine the resuscitation effort.
I’m kind of shocked by this one, frankly. As an opening scene in the movie, it would just wreck. The movie we could make from the information in this series would be amazing. In the movie hospital systems would be overflowing with patients, and each part of the movie would have a source. We would publish a movie guide with the references for each scene. Including this one.
#5 Hinsdale South High School teacher dies after suffering medical emergency on campus

#6 Driver suffers medical emergency, crashes Fort Mill school bus into tree: Officials
Source: qcnews.com
The trees are at it again.
‘A local school bus crashed into a tree after the driver experienced a medical emergency Tuesday morning, according to Fort Mill Schools. No students were on the school bus at the time of the accident.’
Small favors.
‘Officials said a bus driver radioed dispatch for help as he drove along A.O. Jones Blvd before starting his route. The road runs next to Nation Ford High School in northern York County.’
‘However, the school system said the driver’s condition worsened, and he struck a tree while trying to pull the school bus over.’
‘Dispatch radioed emergency personnel, who took the man to the hospital.’
‘School officials sent a replacement bus to ensure the safe transport of the students on the affected bus route.’
That last part’s kind of chilling, isn’t it? Like, you look up and the skeleton from Tales from the Crypt is the new bus driver.
#7 Student dies at Reedley College campus, deputies say
Source: abc30.com
‘A male student is dead after he was found unresponsive at Reedley College early Saturday morning.’
‘When police arrived, they found a man between the age of 18-20 unresponsive.’
‘The Fresno County Sheriff's Office was then called to take over the investigation.’
‘"Early Saturday morning, Reedley College was notified of a medical emergency involving one of our Residence Hall students. The student has passed away," Reedley College said in a statement.’
‘After an autopsy, the coroner will determine the cause of death.’
#8 ‘He was just amazing’: Dead Kentwood student identified after found on bus
Source: kiro7.com
Western Washington again. They bragged about how high a percentage of the school children were given the deadly shots.
‘A letter sent to Kentwood High School parents identified the student who died on a school bus outside of Mattson Middle School on Wednesday morning.’
‘The high school student seemingly got on the bus to school Wednesday but didn’t get off at his Kentwood stop. He was found unconscious inside the bus sometime after his classmates were dropped off. The student was declared dead in the Mattson Middle School parking lot.’
‘It is required for school bus drivers to thoroughly check the bus after each drop-off and make sure no students are onboard before they leave that school’s parking lot. Somehow Lindsay’s unconscious body went unnoticed for an undetermined amount of time, according to Washington State and federal law. [sic]’
So, it sounds like the bus was used to drop off high school students one day, and then perhaps the next day they found him. They found him at around 7am.
Then there’s this:
‘King County Sheriff’s Office says his death is no longer considered suspicious, and points to a medical event as the cause.’
‘The County Medical Examiner hasn’t released what that cause is.’
‘Now a heavy cloud of grief hangs over Kentwood High School and the corner store where he went daily.’
Yeah, I’ll bet it does.

‘The Stippick family was in New York City celebrating Riker turning double digits.’
‘They were headed to the World Trade Center Memorial on Monday when Riker’s health changed.
"There's a building over there that we walked through and as soon as we walked through that building he said, 'Oh, I have a really bad headache. This is the worst headache I've ever had,’" said Stippick.
His dad said Riker vomited and laid down near a bench.
"It was like a shriek of pain," said Stippick.
They took him to the hospital, where doctors put him in a medically induced coma.’
‘Doctors told them they thought Riker may have had an abnormal connection between his arteries and veins, also called an arteriovenous malformation, with an aneurysm inside it that burst.’ [Emphasis added]
Well, he might have that. Or it could be just normal damage from the covid shots.
‘They had to drill a hole into his skull to drain blood and fluid and remove clotting. Now, they're focused on getting his electrolytes back up.’ [Emphasis added]
‘David, a hospice chaplain, and his wife, who is the assistant principal at Herrington Elementary in Round Rock, were met immediately with support back home.’ [Emphasis added]
A hospital chaplain and an assistant principal at an elementary school. Any chance the kid’s shotted?

Source: web.archive.org
‘Michigan State Police responded to cars that crashed on I-275 near I-94 after an Uber driver reportedly had a medical emergency.
According to MSP Lt. Michael Shaw, the Uber driver is a woman who was having a seizure.’
The rest of the article is written like this.

‘He said the Uber driver’s car then hit a vehicle.’
I can’t really tell what happened.
#12 Rick LoCastro suffers medical emergency as prosecutors issue warrant for his arrest
Source: floridapolitics.com
‘Collier County Commissioner Rick LoCastro has suffered a “medical emergency,” according to his campaign. The news comes the same day prosecutors issued a warrant for the Marco Island Republican’s arrest over a domestic incident.’
I didn’t really want to spell out the whole court case here. This is the guy mentioned in the opening, whose date seems to have gotten a little “tipsy,” or else perhaps a little “beaten.” Hard to say.
#13 Police: Emergency responders bring accident victim ‘back to life’
Source: theintermountain.com
‘One person was transported by helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after a single-vehicle accident on the Beverly Five-lane across from the United Parcel Service center Tuesday morning.’
‘At approximately 5:42 a.m., deputies with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the accident after a citizen alerted 911 about witnessing a vehicle cross both lanes of traffic and go over an embankment, officials said.’ [Emphasis added]
‘[…] a car had struck the guardrail, and the passenger side wheel and tire were separated from the vehicle, police said.’ [Emphasis added]
‘Because the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, it was able to continue beyond the guardrail before going over an embankment and striking several trees, despite it only having three wheels, according to officials.’ [Emphasis added]
It’s like the Little Engine that Could.
‘Life-saving measures were then administered on the driver and he was “brought back to life,” the release states.’
‘The driver, who was immediately flown to Morgantown, is suspected to have had a medical emergency while driving, police said.’

Source: king5.com
Western Washington joins us yet again.
‘A Thurston County woman is suing after Washington State Patrol troopers arrested her for driving under the influence and not providing medical aid while she was suffering from a brain bleed.’
‘According to the lawsuit, Nicole McClure was involved in a single-vehicle collision due to a medical emergency on March 21, 2022. A Washington State Patrol trooper saw McClure driving at a slow rate of speed before she collided with the center of a roundabout in Olympia.’
‘McClure told troopers she left work early because she "was feeling very dizzy and did not know what was going on," according to the lawsuit. Troopers allegedly forcefully arrested McClure at gunpoint and she was ultimately arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Troopers reportedly didn't administer a breathalyzer or a field sobriety test and reported McClure had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.’
‘McClure was discovered the next morning unresponsive and was transported to the emergency department where it was confirmed she was suffering from a "massive brain hemorrhage."’
You mean cops don’t routinely check for brain bleeds? I feel kinda bad for the cops, really bad for the woman, and trepidatious about the future.
